Piecing together a pretty quilt/doona cover for myself. Nothing like some pretty popping colours in the bedroom.

Rainy market day

A very rainy day in Upwey today, raining, poring, there were moments I wished I was still snoring!

I was really happy to have my lovely friend Cindy to keep me company for most of the day. We chatted as the rain fell, and people bustled about with umbrellas and jackets. Quite a few people popped in for a chinwag and to get some shelter from the rain.

Cindy had her fox owl & bird ceramic brooches in the stall today, heaps of people stopped to comment and admire them. I sold a few bits and pieces, enough to make the day worth while. Not  keen on doing more winter markets though, bring on the sunshine I say!

Pretty patchwork fruity cot size doona cover

My latest creation is a pretty patchwork cot size doona cover. Quilted abstract style, made from lovely cottons. Check it out at my next market on Saturday 18 August 9-2 pm Grassroots-Market Upwey.
Hope for some sunshine and to see many folks there.
