First post of 2014, a little slow at getting back into blogging my handmade happiness. It does't mean I haven't stopped making, just been busying spending time with my kids & family over the school holidays.

Crochet has wormed its way into my hands & heart. It's such a relaxing craft, and can be done while watching a movie. I'm attempting to crochet a square every week for 52 weeks, then stitch it all together to create a delicious warm blanket. I am ahead of schedule with the squares as some days i'm making a few and other days none.Watch this space to see how it evolves. 

I've also taught myself to crochet flower garlands, so sweet & pretty. The first garland is travelling to my family in NZ.

Happy New Year

Just a little post to share the new year love ♥ 2012

I started sewing today for the first time since before the market, other than some hand sewing of cute little felt cats & embroidering the tattoos on my special sailor dolls :) I worked on whilst on my Tassie holiday.

I completed 4 gorgeous floral, dolly in my pocket style skirts and have another on the go. I'm going to be busy replenishing my stocks for my market stall at Mathilda Market on Feb 26. Really looking forward to the sewing, & have some great new ideas.
